Stayed here over the July 4th holiday weekend. Check-in was excellent and Nazly at the front desk generously upgraded me to a balcony room with a beautiful harbor view. Watching the sunset over the port was a highlight. The constant crane activity in the distance is actually quite mesmerizing. The hotel doesn't have a valet, and when I asked for help with my bags I was initially just pointed to a luggage cart. I have Parkinson's and don't do great with those. When I briefly explained, a staff member named Emad lit up and gladly helped me unload my car. We had a warm chat on the way to my room and he gave me some great Long Beach tips. The check-in experience was memorable. The room itself is good for a convention/airline staff focused hotel. Comfortable bed, great water pressure, and fast WiFi (fast enough that I was uploading 4K videos without issue). The breakfast buffet was better than you would expect at this level of hotel, and the free beer and snacks in the Bonvoy lounge were nice. The one caveat: it was a holiday weekend, and Ocean Blvd was lively — ambulances, loud cars, and motorcycles well into the early morning. Even with earplugs, sleep wasn't great. To be fair, I haven't stayed on a normal weekend, so this may not be typical — but if you're a light sleeper, it might be worth requesting a room on the city side. Staff were the highlight. I’m going to stay again — on the city side.

Wow! Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend for a birthday celebration, and we were impressed by the hotel. The look, ambiance and feel of the hotel was amazing. Staff at the front desk was great, always approachable. Property has plenty of parking spaces, might be a little tight and a challenge for larger trucks/SUVs. When we got into the room we were highly impressed by the aesthetic, it was like quiet modern but had minimalist feels to it, plenty of outlets. Bathroom had plenty of counter space, we love the lamps in the room too. Just overall pleasing to the eyes. We had lounge access with our bonvoy membership, the staff at the lounge could be a little better, did not feel welcoming during service hours when staff was there. Breakfast selections was much better than the afternoon selection. Coffee machine was out of order for the 2 days we were there. We ordered room service one day, had the saucy wings and burrata flatbread, both surprisingly amazing! Just be aware, property does have resort fee. Overall, highly recommend, we'd probably stay again!

My stay at the Marriott Long Beach was wonderful from start to finish! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the customer service. The M Lounge was also outstanding and had some of the best breakfasts and snacks I’ve seen in a while. As someone who travels frequently and holds Titanium Elite status, I’ve experienced many lounges, and this one truly stood out. Everything was fresh, well-stocked, and thoughtfully presented. A huge thank you to Rey at the front desk for being so kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. Rey went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made us feel genuinely welcomed. If you’re staying here, I highly recommend this hotel and be sure to say hello to Rey at the front desk! We will definitely be back.

stayed here for the apocalypse music festival in june of 2026. 3 nights and it was a wonderful stay. staff were welcoming and nice. i liked how the front door closed at ten pm unless you had a room key and how the elevator could only be used if you had a room key, it made me feel very safe! rooms were clean and updated, spacious bathrooms. definitely staying here again when the festival returns next year! thank you for a pleasant stay :)

I am staying at the location now to Friday and have to say I'm impressed. They were able to check me in a few hours early which was helpful. They recognized my status and upgraded me to the elite floor which was appreciated. I asked for a possible move to Bayside, and though the hotel is quite full because of a conference, they are considering the move and will call if something is available. I appreciate that. Everyone has been very nice from check in to the Mclub. The Mclub breakfast and late snack has been very nice. I wish they had a little something sweet on snacks if I had one suggestion. The rooms are nice..I LOVE the area at the window that you can sit and look out. I not only needed to stay for a conference but also wanted to decide where to stay next spring for a family trip. It will definitely be at this Marriott. Its nice walking distance to food places and the convention center as well..

Positive: Hotel overall experience was great, it was clean and was told that because I was told I was a VIP, I had $15 beverage credit daily Negative: until checkout time, was charged hidden city fee of $70 after I paid everything upfront! Also $15 daily beverage credit did not apply to my total so I had to paid out of pocket after that was included as well.

This is now our go-to hotel before each cruise out of long beach. It's only an 8 min Uber to the cruise port. The front desk moved our room to a higher floor so we could get a better view of the port. Parking is easy to book ahead of time (and much cheaper than booking through the hotel). The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Our room had a reading nook I'm the window which is great to read a book while looking over the cityscape. The bathroom is spacious and has great lighting. The restaurant downstairs is great if you don't want to leave the hotel. Close to tons of restaurants if you want to explore.
